Customers who have used the wire mesh decking know that it is the welding mesh placed on the shelf. It is good bearing capacity, easy installation and beautiful appearance.
This is also one of the important reasons for customers to recognize the wire mesh deck. As the wire mesh decks often need to be bent, it is necessary to understand the relevant precautions in transportation.
1. As the wire rack decking needs to be bent, the freight of the bent wire decking is higher than that of the non-bent wire deck because of the large space occupation.
2. When we transport bent steel mesh decking, it can't be placed at the bottom of freight cars, because if we place the bent shelf mesh decking at the bottom of freight cars, the bent shelf mesh deck will be compressed and deformed by the weight of freight cars, affecting our use.
3. Don't think it's OK for us to place the steel grate decking at the top of the truck. When our truck is ready to leave, we will tie all the goods with steel wire rope to prevent the goods from falling during transportation, which will cause danger to the vehicles behind.
When the truck driver is binding the goods, if the force of binding the goods is focused on the bending part of our shelf mesh decking, then the bending part of our shelf deck mesh will be bound out of shape.
Therefore, we should pay attention to placing a wooden stick beyond the bending height when binding the part of the shelf mesh decks to ensure that we can bend the shelf mesh deck without causing the deformation of the mesh deck when binding the car.
If possible, we can wait for the wire mesh decking for pallet racking to arrive at our place of use before bending. In this way, it can avoid the damage to the shelf wire mesh deck in the process of transportation.
You can also save part of the freight. Because if the wire mesh deck for pallet rack is not bent, it is flat. So it takes up less space. The freight is lower. This is the most ideal and stable mode of transportation for the bent shelves.
