As we all know, the mezzanine floor is a multi-floor rack, generally designed to be 2-3 floors. The goods on the upper floor are stored up and down the mezzanine stairs, and the goods can also be placed on the second or third floor by hydraulic lifting platform, climbing ladder or forklift. But many people don't know that the mezzanine storage can also increase the use of slideways, so, what is the effect of adding a slideway to the mezzanine flooring systems?
The slideway is usually designed in the mezzanine racking next to the mezzanine stairs, goods can slide from the slideway to the ground, saving some labor costs. For example, some goods that are not fragile or heavy and large can be removed by using a slideway. It saves manpower and time cost.
Some customers will also ask if the sliding ladder of the storage mezzanine platforms can be designed with an arc. We generally do not recommend this design, because the slope is enough for the goods to slide down flexibly. The sliding ladder with a designed arc has a relatively high cost, and the bearing capacity is not so large. Therefore, it is recommended to use a 45-degree slide directly.
